How to reach the Museum

The Corsini palace, venue of the Museum, is located in midst of the town of Fucecchio, close to the large park with the remains of the castle of Salamarzana and the 14th century Florentine Fortress. The main entrance is located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, facing the Collegiate church of San Giovanni Battista. 

By train

Get off at San Miniato-Fucecchio railway station, on the line Firenze-Pisa. Take the bus to Fucecchio and get off in Piazza XX Settembre. Climb towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto following Via delle Carbonaie, Poggio Alberighi, Via Soldaini, Piazza Cavour and Via Pietro Martini.

By car

Once in Fucecchio, park in piazza Giovanni Paolo II. Climb by elevator to via Castruccio Castracani. Leaving the Hospital to the left, follow via Guglielmo di San Giorgio, piazza Garibaldi, via S. Giovanni reaching piazza Vittorio Veneto.

Disabled

Access to the Museum for disabled persons is from piazza La Vergine following by car the Parco Corsini until the museum. 

Accessibility

  • The visit of the Museum is aided by informations available on your smart phone through QR code and NFC located in each room.
  • All floors are reachable by elevator. To use the elevator please ask the reception desk.
  • WC are located at the ground floor and equipped for disabled persons
  • Changing table is available in the WC at the ground floor.
